The Highlands of Scotland in and around Inverness, further North up to Sutherland and Ross-shire, and the North East of Scotland in and around Aberdeen, and inland around Aviemore and down to Perth and Stirling give you an idea of where I’ve travelled to hold ceremony over the past few years – I’m happy to travel to the place of your ceremony.

You’ll see a lot of the locations couples have chosen listed above are outside as more and more people choose to get married in nature. The Scottish weather isn’t the most reliable, but if having your ceremony outside is the only option you’ll consider I’m happy to oblige. When you decide to have me hold your ceremony I’ll send you some guidelines about the legal aspect of your ceremony which can be anywhere.

I’d be delighted to tell you about any of the places I’ve been to, I can also give you ideas for venues ranging from £1000+ for some of the castles (like Urquhart and Edinburgh), to £250-350 or so, to nothing if you prefer the beach or a ruined castle that’s an open site. You’ll also find more ideas listed on the www.gettingmarriedinscotland.org website or please email me and I’ll send you a list with website links.
