Ceremonies in Glasgow, the Scottish Borders and Edinburgh

As an ordained Interfaith Minister, I believe that ceremony has a vital part to play in our lives. It should respect individual beliefs – including no spiritual beliefs at all - and be available to everyone. Traditional? Alternative? Somewhere between? The choice should always be yours – I simply feel honoured to be part of your ceremony.

Bringing in a meaningful ceremony at pivotal points in our lives not only helps us mark those points as memorable - it can help us move on into new stages of life with a feeling of clarity and support.

My background includes working as a writer, and all my ceremonies are written from scratch, so are unique to you. I am also comfortable using material written by you, or writing the ceremony jointly between us. I can suggest/draw on many writings or poetry to enhance the occasion. The important thing is that we end up with something that reflects what you want and what is important to you – and is beautiful and meaningful to you.

I work in Glasgow, the Scottish Borders area, and Edinburgh. I will also travel further afield for some ceremonies, and I sometimes enjoy working at short notice. All the initial contact with me - by phone, e-mail or meeting - comes with no cost or obligation to proceed, and if I am unable to carry out the ceremony on the date you want, I’ll help you find someone else if I can. I am happy create ceremony for small groups of people, through to very large formal gatherings.
